Professional Boat Detailing — Butler, WI

Boat & Watercraft Detailing
Professionally Prepared.

Gelcoat restoration, hull cleaning, marine upholstery care, and hardware polishing. Pre-season and end-of-season preparation. Family-owned, Butler, WI since 1981.

What We Do

Ready for the water. Ready for storage.

Boat surfaces require different care than automotive surfaces — marine gelcoat oxidizes differently from car paint, marine vinyl demands different conditioning, and Wisconsin winters create a specific set of pre-storage requirements. We have the products, experience, and process to handle it all.

We use marine-grade cleaners and protectants appropriate for fiberglass, gelcoat, aluminum, and vinyl. Hull and waterline cleaning targets algae, mineral deposits, and biological contamination specific to Wisconsin lake water. Gelcoat oxidation removal restores color and gloss that UV exposure and water contact have degraded. Marine upholstery and vinyl are cleaned, conditioned, and UV-protected. All metal hardware is polished and protected against corrosion.

End-of-season detailing before Wisconsin winter storage is the single most important boat maintenance appointment of the year. Contamination left on the hull, gelcoat, and upholstery during storage causes damage that becomes very difficult and expensive to reverse. We prepare boats for storage correctly.

  • Marine Upholstery Care Marine upholstery, vinyl seating, and carpet are cleaned, conditioned, and protected against UV damage, mold, and mildew.
  • Hull & Waterline Cleaning The hull and waterline receive targeted treatment for algae, mineral deposits, water staining, and biological contamination from Wisconsin lake water.
  • Hardware Polishing Stainless, aluminum, and chrome fittings, cleats, and hardware are polished and protected against corrosion.
  • End-of-Season Preparation Pre-storage detailing protects your boat through Wisconsin winters. Proper cleaning before storage prevents oxidation, mold, and material degradation.
How It Works

Your appointment,
step by step.

01

Boat Assessment

We inspect gelcoat condition, upholstery, hull, and hardware before beginning. Problem areas — heavy oxidation, staining, mold — are documented and discussed.

02

Hull & Exterior Wash

The hull and all exterior surfaces are washed using marine cleaners. Waterline deposits, algae, and biological contamination are targeted specifically.

03

Gelcoat & Oxidation Treatment

Oxidized gelcoat is treated and restored using marine-grade compounds and polishes appropriate for the specific surface type.

04

Interior Cleaning

Marine upholstery, vinyl seating, cockpit carpet, and all interior surfaces are vacuumed, steam-cleaned, and treated.

05

Hardware & Metal Polishing

All metal hardware — cleats, rails, hinges, and fittings — is polished and protected against future corrosion.

06

Protection & Delivery

Marine-appropriate protectants are applied to gelcoat, vinyl, and metal. A final walk-around is completed before delivery.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked
questions.

Do you detail all types of boats?

We detail fiberglass powerboats, pontoon boats, personal watercraft (jet skis), and fishing boats. Contact us to discuss your specific boat type and size.

How much does boat detailing cost?

Boat detailing is priced by boat type, size, and condition. Call (262) 783-6288 for a quote.

How long does a boat detail take?

A standard boat detail takes 4–8 hours depending on size and condition. Boats with heavy oxidation or significant marine buildup take longer.

When is the best time to have my boat detailed?

End-of-season detailing before winter storage is the most important appointment. A thorough clean and protectant application before storage prevents oxidation, mold, and material deterioration that a Wisconsin winter accelerates.

Can you remove heavy gelcoat oxidation?

Yes. Oxidation removal and gelcoat restoration is a core part of our boat detailing service. Heavily oxidized boats can often be restored to near-original gloss.

Do you work on pontoon boats?

Yes. Pontoon boats — including decking, seating, aluminum pontoons, and canopy — can be fully detailed at our shop.

Can you detail my boat if it's on a trailer?

Yes. Boats are detailed on their trailers or on a stand at our Butler shop. We do not offer on-water detailing.

Should I detail my boat before putting it in storage?

Yes. This is the most important boat detailing appointment of the year. Contamination left on hull, gelcoat, and upholstery during Wisconsin winter storage causes damage that is very difficult to reverse. Pre-storage detailing protects your investment.
