Boat surfaces require different care than automotive surfaces — marine gelcoat oxidizes differently from car paint, marine vinyl demands different conditioning, and Wisconsin winters create a specific set of pre-storage requirements. We have the products, experience, and process to handle it all.
We use marine-grade cleaners and protectants appropriate for fiberglass, gelcoat, aluminum, and vinyl. Hull and waterline cleaning targets algae, mineral deposits, and biological contamination specific to Wisconsin lake water. Gelcoat oxidation removal restores color and gloss that UV exposure and water contact have degraded. Marine upholstery and vinyl are cleaned, conditioned, and UV-protected. All metal hardware is polished and protected against corrosion.
End-of-season detailing before Wisconsin winter storage is the single most important boat maintenance appointment of the year. Contamination left on the hull, gelcoat, and upholstery during storage causes damage that becomes very difficult and expensive to reverse. We prepare boats for storage correctly.
We inspect gelcoat condition, upholstery, hull, and hardware before beginning. Problem areas — heavy oxidation, staining, mold — are documented and discussed.
The hull and all exterior surfaces are washed using marine cleaners. Waterline deposits, algae, and biological contamination are targeted specifically.
Oxidized gelcoat is treated and restored using marine-grade compounds and polishes appropriate for the specific surface type.
Marine upholstery, vinyl seating, cockpit carpet, and all interior surfaces are vacuumed, steam-cleaned, and treated.
All metal hardware — cleats, rails, hinges, and fittings — is polished and protected against future corrosion.
Marine-appropriate protectants are applied to gelcoat, vinyl, and metal. A final walk-around is completed before delivery.
We detail fiberglass powerboats, pontoon boats, personal watercraft (jet skis), and fishing boats. Contact us to discuss your specific boat type and size.
Boat detailing is priced by boat type, size, and condition. Call (262) 783-6288 for a quote.
A standard boat detail takes 4–8 hours depending on size and condition. Boats with heavy oxidation or significant marine buildup take longer.
End-of-season detailing before winter storage is the most important appointment. A thorough clean and protectant application before storage prevents oxidation, mold, and material deterioration that a Wisconsin winter accelerates.

We’re based in Butler, WI — centrally located in the Milwaukee metro. Below is what Boat and Watercraft Detailing means for drivers in each community we regularly serve.
Boat detailing is performed at our Butler shop — 4509 N. 126th St. Butler sits at the center of the Milwaukee metro, making it accessible from marinas, storage facilities, and private properties throughout the region.
Milwaukee-area boaters operating on Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee River, and the regional marina network bring boats to us for seasonal preparation. UV exposure on open water and biological contamination from fresh and brackish water create specific detailing demands our process is built for.
Wauwatosa boat owners bring their watercraft to our Butler shop for spring commissioning and fall pre-storage detailing — the two most impactful appointments in a Wisconsin boating year. Our shop is 10 minutes from Wauwatosa.
Brookfield and Waukesha County have a dense concentration of recreational boaters. The chain-o-lakes and area reservoirs see heavy use, and the boats on them accumulate waterline mineral deposits, algae, and gelcoat UV damage that our marine detailing process specifically addresses.
Menomonee Falls boaters are 10 minutes from our shop. Pre-season and post-season boat detailing is a practical service for Falls residents who want their watercraft properly prepared without a long drive to a specialty marine facility.
Sussex sits near several recreational bodies of water and has a significant boating community. We see a consistent volume of boat detail requests from Sussex and Lisbon area boaters, particularly in fall as they prepare for Wisconsin winter storage.
Waukesha’s location near the Pewaukee chain of lakes and Oconomowoc makes it one of the more active boating communities we serve. Waukesha boat owners regularly bring watercraft to our Butler shop for detailing and seasonal storage preparation.
