The Complete Porter is Custom Portering’s flagship service — the reason most clients come to us. It brings together our full interior and exterior detailing process in a single drop-off appointment, covering every surface of your vehicle inside and out.
Interior work includes industrial steam extraction of carpets and upholstery, hand-conditioning of all leather and vinyl, thorough cleaning of every panel, vent, and console, odor treatment, and streak-free interior glass. Exterior work includes a two-bucket hand wash, clay bar treatment, dedicated wheel and tire detailing, trim restoration, and a hand wax finish. One team, one standard, start to finish.
We’ve offered this service under the “porter” name since 1981 because that’s what dedicated hands-on vehicle care has always been called. The standard hasn’t changed. Gift certificates available. Military discount: $10 off.

Arrival & Inspection
We document the vehicle’s full condition on arrival. Interior and exterior problem areas are noted and discussed before work begins.
Interior: Dry Extraction
Floor mats removed. Vacuuming and pre-treatment of stains. Dry extraction of loose debris throughout the interior.
Interior: Steam & Surface
Full steam extraction of carpets and upholstery. All interior surfaces — dash, panels, vents, console — hand-cleaned.
Interior: Leather & Glass
Leather and vinyl conditioned and buffed. Interior glass cleaned streak-free. Final interior wipe-down.
Exterior: Hand Wash & Clay
Full exterior two-bucket hand wash. Clay bar treatment. Wheels and tires detailed and dressed.
Exterior: Wax & Delivery
Hand wax applied section-by-section and buffed. Complete walk-around inspection before you pick up.

How is this different from a car wash?
A car wash removes surface dirt in minutes. Our complete detail involves hours of hands-on work using professional products — steam extraction, clay bar, leather conditioning, hand wax. The results are not comparable.
How often should I get a complete detail?
Once or twice a year is the most common interval. Many clients book in spring (post-winter salt removal) and fall (pre-winter protection). Fleet clients often operate on a quarterly schedule.
