Professional Interior Detailing — Butler, WI

Interior Car Detailing
Done Right.

Deep-clean steam extraction, leather conditioning, and odor treatment — every surface, every time. Family-owned, fully insured. Butler, WI since 1981.

What We Do

Every surface. Every time.

An interior detail at Custom Portering isn’t a wipe-down and a freshener. It’s a methodical, professional clean of every interior surface — performed by detailers with 10 or more years of experience, using professional-grade products.

We use industrial steam extraction to flush dirt, salt residue, and allergens from carpet fibers and seat foam that vacuuming alone cannot reach. Every leather and vinyl surface is cleaned and conditioned with Meguiar’s and P&S Detail Products. Every vent, panel, console, and door pocket is hand-cleaned. Interior glass is done streak-free. The result is a vehicle that looks and smells genuinely clean — not masked, not rushed.

We’ve been doing this in Butler, WI since 1981. If something isn’t right when you pick up your vehicle, we make it right.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked
questions.

How long does an interior detail take?

A typical interior detail takes 2–4 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. Heavily soiled vehicles or those with pet hair, heavy staining, or odor issues may take longer. We’ll give you a time estimate at drop-off.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. All services are by appointment only. Call (262) 783-6288 Monday–Friday 7am–6pm to schedule. We do not offer walk-in service.

How do I prepare my vehicle?

Remove personal belongings from the interior before drop-off. No other preparation is necessary.

Can you remove pet hair?

Yes. Pet hair removal is included in our interior detail. Heavily embedded pet hair may require extra time, which we’ll discuss at drop-off.

Do you come to my location?

No. All services are performed at our shop at 4509 N. 126th St., Butler, WI 53007. Drop off your vehicle and we’ll call you when it’s ready.

Does an interior detail include odor removal?

Odor treatment is included for common odors. Severe odors from smoke, pet urine, or mold may require our dedicated Odor Removal service.

What products do you use?

We use Meguiar’s, Pro Line, P&S Detail Products, and 3M Automotive — the same professional brands used on high-end vehicles and show cars.

How often should I have my interior detailed?

For most drivers, once or twice a year is sufficient. Vehicles with children or pets, or exposed to heavy road salt, benefit from attention every 3–4 months.

Local Service Area

Serving Milwaukee &
the surrounding communities.

We’re based in Butler, WI — centrally located in the Milwaukee metro. Below is what Interior Auto Detailing means for drivers in each community we regularly serve.

Butler, WI — Our Home Shop Our Shop

Our shop is at 4509 N. 126th St. in Butler. Every interior detail is performed here — in a fully equipped professional facility with proper tools, lighting, and drainage. Butler drivers have direct access to the Milwaukee area’s most thorough detail shop.

Serving Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee vehicles face year-round road conditions that push dirt, salt, and moisture deep into carpet fibers and seat upholstery. Our steam extraction process is built for the kind of deep embedded contamination that comes from urban Milwaukee driving.

Serving Wauwatosa, WI

Wauwatosa’s tree-lined neighborhoods deposit sap, pollen, and debris inside vehicles year-round. Our interior detail restores every surface in cars from Tosa Village to the Mayfair corridor — 10 minutes from our Butler shop.

Serving Brookfield, WI

Brookfield commuters accumulate coffee spills, road salt tracked in on shoes, and seat wear from regular highway miles. Our interior porter service addresses all of it — from floor mats to headliner — in one drop-off appointment.

Serving Menomonee Falls, WI

Menomonee Falls drivers bring in gravel dust and salt brine that works deep into carpets and door sills. Our professional steam extraction specifically targets the residue that Wisconsin winters leave behind in vehicles from the Falls area.

Serving Sussex, WI

Sussex residents are about 15 minutes from our Butler shop. We regularly serve clients from Sussex and Hartland who want professional interior detailing — not a quick car-wash spritz that leaves door sills and vents untouched.

Serving Waukesha, WI

Waukesha vehicles traveling I-94 accumulate brake dust, road film, and interior wear that builds up over time. Waukesha clients find our Butler shop easy to reach and the results consistently better than anything available at a closer car wash.
